- Scope of Our Policy
If you are a California resident, please review the section below for important information about the categories of personal information we collect and disclose, as well as your rights under California privacy laws.
Personal Information. In this Policy, our use of the term “personal information” includes other similar terms under applicable privacy laws—such as “personal data” and “personally identifiable information.” In general, personal information includes any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated, or reasonably linked or linkable with a particular individual.
- Personal Information We Collect
BLD collects personal information directly from you, automatically related to your use of the Services, and in some cases, from third parties (such as social networks). The information we collect about you varies depending upon the circumstances and how you interact with us.
Information We Collect from You. Generally, we collect your personal information on a voluntary basis. However, if you decline to provide certain personal information that is marked mandatory, you may not be able to access or obtain certain Services or we may be unable to fully respond to your inquiry. In general, we may collect the following personal information about you:
- Contact information: To access and use certain Services (e.g., to register for a league) you may be required to register with us, by providing us with certain required information, which is identified on the account registration page. Depending upon the Services you use, this may include your name, a username and password, city, title, email, and contact information; certain Services will not be available if you decline to provide required information. We may also ask you or allow you to submit certain optional information, which may include your phone number, birthdate, location, preferences, preferred sports or leagues, a photo, and other profile information.
- Purchases and payments information: If you make a purchase you are required to provide your payment information, including name, billing and shipping address and details, payment type, as well as credit card number or other payment account details. We work with third parties like payment processors and fulfillment partners to process these payments. We do not collect, receive, process or store credit card or debit card numbers, or other third-party payment account credentials; this information is collected directly by these third parties. Depending upon the Service, we may receive your username, name, email, the payment type, product(s) or service(s), and other transaction details, and maintain records of your purchase and subscription history.
- Marketing and promotions: Users can sign up online or in-person (e.g., at events, sports games conferences and the like) to receive direct marketing communications from us, including emails about the league(s), games, developments, and upcoming sports events. In this context, we may collect your email address, and we may also collect your name, preferences, and if relevant, information about your account and the Services you use. We may also collect your name, age, email address, and other information related to contests, sweepstakes or other events or activities on our Site and social media channels.
- Communications, Requests and Support: When you use our contact us form, email us, call us, or otherwise send us communications regarding the Services, we collect and maintain a record of your contact details, communications and our responses. We may also maintain records of the communications and information that you may provide through a contact form or in other areas of the Services. Also, if you post or submit reviews, testimonials and comments to us, we may maintain a record of this content, including the location, date, and time of submission.
- Other: we may use CCTV and similar tools to monitor and secure our premises, which may lead to the collection of recordings about visitors to our premises. Further, if you contact our customer support services or participate in public events, we may record these interactions.
Information We Collect and Receive from Third PartiesWe may collect and receive personal information about you from third parties, such as from third party partners who we work with, such as social media companies (e.g., information from third party platforms related to your posts about or interactions with us on social media services), ad networks (e.g., related to your viewing of interactions with our ads, marketing or other content), analytics providers and others who we work with to deliver, improve and measure our online advertising and marketing campaigns.
Automatically Collected Information. We also may collect personal information about how you access, use and interact with our websites, applications and online service, such as information we collect automatically including cookies and pixel tags, IP address, advertising ID, location information, browser type, device type, domain name, the website that led you to our website, the website to which you go after leaving our website, the dates and times you access our websites and online services, and the links you click and your other activities. We also may use pixels in HTML emails to understand if you read the emails, we send to you. For more information, see the “Cookies and Other Tracking Information” section below.
- How We Use Personal Information
While the purposes for which we may process personal information will vary depending upon the circumstances, in general, we use personal information for the business and commercial purposes set forth below.
- Providing our Services and Related Support:to provide and operate our Services, communicate with you about your use of our Services, to provide troubleshooting and technical support, respond to your inquiries, fulfill your orders and requests, communicate with you, and for similar service and support purposes.
- Analyzing and improving our services:to better understand how our Services are accessed and used, in order to administer, monitor, and improve our Services, for our internal purposes, and for other research and analytical purposes.
- Communicating with you:to respond to your requests or otherwise communicate with you relating to our Services or business.
- Tailoring content experiences:to tailor content we may send or display on the Site or otherwise, to offer location customization and personalized help and instructions, and to managing our information and promotional campaigns.
- Sending newsletters and other information and updates:to promote BLD’s products and Services and for direct marketing purposes, including to send you newsletters, updates, event information and other information we think may interest you.
- Complying with legal obligations:to comply with the law or legal proceedings. For example, we may disclose personal information in response to subpoenas, court order, and other lawful requests by regulators and law enforcement, including responding to national security or law enforcement disclosure requirements.
- In support of our general business operations:related to the administration of our general business, operational, accounting, auditing, recordkeeping and legal functions. For example, as part of any merger, sale, transfer of assets, acquisition, financing and/or restructuring, bankruptcy or similar event, including related to due diligence conducted prior to such event, where permitted by law.
Aggregate and anonymous data. We may also create and use aggregate, anonymous and de-identified data to improve and develop our business and services, and for similar research and analytics purposes.
- How We Disclose Personal Information
BLD may disclose your personal information as follows:
- Subsidiaries and affiliates: to our subsidiary and affiliated companies (i.e., our parent company and other companies under common ownership, control or management with us); their use and disclosure of such personal information is subject to this Policy.
- Vendors and providers: to our third-party service providers who use this information to perform services on our behalf, such as hosting and cloud storage providers, payment providers, auditors, advisors, consultants, customer service and/or support providers.
- Event organizers: to third parties involved with events that you register for, to facilitate your participation in those events.
- Advertising and Analytics Partners: to third parties, we engage, that provide advertising, campaign measurement, online and mobile analytics, and related services to us (with your consent, where required by applicable laws). They may use this information to help us better reach individuals with relevant ads and to measure and improve our ad campaigns, or to better understand how individuals interact with our Services. In addition, these third parties may combine the information collected from us and our Services with information collected about you from third-party sites, apps and services, in order to make inferences about you and your interests, to better tailor advertising and content to you across multiple sites, apps, and services, and to collect associated metrics.
- Other Users: If you choose to provide a testimonial or other public feedback, or similar content, we may disclose such information with the Services, and such content will be visible to other visitors and users of the Site.
- Legal compliance: in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful.
- Business transfers: as part of any actual or contemplated merger, sale, transfer of assets, acquisition, financing and/or restructuring of all or part of our business, bankruptcy or similar event, including related to due diligence conducted prior to such event, where permitted by law.
- Protection of rights: where we believe necessary to respond to claims asserted against us, to enforce or administer our agreements and terms, for fraud prevention, risk assessment, investigation, to protect the rights, property or safety of BLD, our affiliates, prospective customers and/or others, and/or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
Aggregated and De-identified Data. We may share aggregate or de-identified data with third parties for research, marketing, advertising, analytics and/or other purposes.
- Cookies, Analytics and Personalization
Log Files. We collect certain usage information from log files. Log file information is automatically reported by your browser or mobile application to our servers when you access our Services. We record certain information from these log files, including web requests, IP address, browser type and version, language information, referring and exiting URLs, links clicked, pages viewed and other similar information.
Cookies. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser for record-keeping purposes. Some cookies allow us to make it easier for you to navigate our website, while others allow us to track your activities while using our Site. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future. The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your computer from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Parts of our website may not work properly if you disable cookies.
Clear GIFs, pixel tags and web beacons. Pixel tags are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages. We may use pixel tags (also referred to as web beacons, web bugs or clear GIFs), in connection with our Services to, among other things, help us manage ads and content, and compile statistics about usage of our Services. We may also use pixel tags in HTML emails to our customers, to help us track email response rates, identify when our emails are viewed, and track whether our emails are forwarded.
Analytics Tools. We may use internal and third-party analytics tools to collect and aggregate activity data and other data across multiple channels.
Do-Not-Track signals. Please note that our websites do not recognize or respond to any signal which your browser might transmit through the so-called ‘Do Not Track’ feature your browser might have. If you wish to disable cookies on our Services, you should not rely on any ‘Do Not Track’ feature your browser might have.

Preferences. There are multiple ways for you to manage your preferences regarding targeting cookies, advertising and personalization.
- Browser Settings: You can also block or disable cookies for the device and browser you are using, through your browser settings; however, certain features on our website may not be available or function properly if you block or disable cookies. Please note that your cookie preferences are applied on a browser and device basis. So, you will need to set your cookie preferences for each browser and device you use to access our website.
- Our websites: You can review or change your preferences for targeting cookies and tags on our websites by adjusting your cookie settings.

Please note that opting out of participating ad networks does not opt you out of being served advertising but just from targeted advertising. You may continue to receive generic or “contextual” ads on our Services. You may also continue to receive targeted ads on other websites, from companies that do not participate in the above programs.
- Third-Party Links and Features
BLD takes steps to protect the personal information we maintain. However, no website or Internet transmission is 100% secure. Thus, BLD cannot and does not guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur.
- Your Rights and Choices
Access, Amend and Correct. If you wish to access or amend certain personal information that you have submitted to us, to request the correction of any inaccurate information you have submitted to us, or to request deletion of your information, please send your request email@example.com. We will review your request and make reasonable efforts to respond to it as soon as practicable. We may ask you for additional information so that we can confirm your identity.
Direct Marketing. You may always opt-out of direct marketing emails. If you would like to unsubscribe from our email subscriptions or otherwise change your email preferences with BLD, please follow the instructions in any of our promotional emails that we send to you, e.g., by clicking the unsubscribe link provided therein. Please note, that we may continue to send you transactional or service-related communications, such as service announcements and administrative messages.
Cookies and Advertising. As noted above in the Section “Cookies, Analytics and Personalization” and “Interest-based Advertising”, you can manage your preferences for cookies (including advertising cookies) on our Services by adjusting your cookie preferences.
Our Services are not targeted to minors under the age of thirteen (13) and we do not knowingly or specifically collect information about minors under the age of 13. If you believe we have unintentionally collected such information, please notify us as set out in the Contact Us section below.
- Changes to this Policy
This Policy is current as of the Effective Date set forth above. We may change this Policy from time to time, so please be sure to check back periodically. We will post any changes to this Policy on our Services. If we make any changes to this Policy that materially affect our practices with regard to the personal information, we have previously collected from you, we will endeavor to provide you with Policy in advance of such change, such as by highlighting the change on website or sending you an email, prior to the material change becoming effective.

This section does not address or apply to our handling of publicly available information lawfully made available by state or federal government records or other personal information that is exempt under the CCPA. Categories of Personal Information Sold. The CCPA defines a “sale” as disclosing or making available personal information to a third party in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration. California residents’ rights. In general, California residents have the following rights with respect to their personal information:

- Request to delete:to request deletion of their personal information that we have collected about them and to have such personal information deleted (without charge), subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to know:with respect to the personal information we have collected about them in the prior 12 months, to require that we disclose the following to them (up to twice per year and subject to certain exemptions):
- categories of personal information collected;
- categories of sources of personal information;
- categories of personal information about them we have disclosed for a business purpose or sold;
- categories of third parties to whom we have sold or disclosed for a business purpose their personal information;
- the business or commercial purposes for collecting or selling their personal information; and
- a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about them.
- Right to non-discrimination:the right not to be subject to discriminatory treatment for exercising their rights under the CCPA.
Submitting CCPA requests. California residents may submit CCPA requests to know (access) and requests to delete their personal information by email at email@example.com.
When you submit a request to know or a request to delete, we will take steps to verify your request by matching the information provided by you with the information we have in our records. You must email us with any requested information (or otherwise provide us with this information to verify your request. In some cases, we may request additional information in order to verify your request or where necessary to process your request. If we are unable to adequately verify a request, we will notify the requestor. Authorized agents may initiate a request on behalf of another individual by contacting us through the above listed method; authorized agents will be required to provide proof of their authorization and we may also require that the relevant consumer directly verify their identity and the authority of the authorized agent.
Right to Non-Discrimination. The CCPA prohibits discrimination against California residents for exercising their rights under the CCPA. Discrimination may exist where a business denies or provides a different level or quality of goods or services, or charges (or suggests that it will charge) different prices, rates, or penalties on residents who exercise their CCPA rights, unless doing so is reasonably related to the value provided to the business by the residents’ data.
Financial Incentives. California residents have the right to be notified of any financial incentives offers and their material terms, the right to opt-out of such incentives at any time and may not be included in such incentives without their prior informed opt-in consent. Where we offer any financial incentives under the CCPA, we will notify you in advance of the material terms of such incentives and your related rights, before we obtain your consent to such incentives.
Your Rights Under California’s Shine-the-Light Law. We do not share personal information collected online with unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing purposes and will not do so unless you agree to such disclosure. If you are a California resident and you still believe your information has been shared or you have general questions about how your information may have been shared, you may contact us by requesting a list of the third parties to which we have disclosed personally identifiable information about you for their own direct marketing purposes. You may make one request per year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for your response.
